‘Twas a night of joyous revelry before The winter winds crept down from the mountains above Song and laughter bellow from a village of man From the forest, a dark magic is stirred Cloaked figures chanting ancient hymns of malice Gathering round a fire near the mouth of a cave Wails of ecstasy and sadistic bloodletting bring the forest to life as they look to the sky This is forever Beams of light erupting from the wicked souls Illuminating the heavens above with an aura to behold Screams of agony Bodies contort in unnatural ways while Bloodshot eyes fix to the horrors above In the stillness of the night Our worries disappear in the warmth of the flame As demons writhe down below We dance along into the dark This beautiful song we hear Trees speaking in the ancient tongues As the beasts submerge in moonlight to slaughter Primordial powers stir within the cave Eons of putrid rot and filth bellowing from its bowels The hour of the beast is nigh This land shall bathe in blood Darkness descending upon the village as fires blow out Like thieves in the night they move swiftly To drag us to our doom This night of malice shall Rebirth an ancient wonder What little resistance to be had was thwarted ‘Twas no match for these beings of an older time The hills around the village emanate a glow And there was silence for In the stillness of the night Our worries disappear in the warmth of the flame As demons writhe down below We dance along into the dark This beautiful song we hear Trees speaking in the ancient tongues As the beasts submerge in moonlight to slaughter

As I wail staring up to the sky Feel the wrath boiling beneath my skin Doomed to die here all alone Here I’ll falter under the moon Here in this hell scape the onset of winter chills my bones Barren trees encroach upon me as they whisper deceitful sweet nothings to my tortured soul Here I lye feeble and worthless against the grain There she lay Cold lifeless ripped from her limbs Blood strewn around Entrails hung from the trees for them all to see Reeling back Heartbeat explodes into pandemonium as I remember she wasn’t alone out here Where is my child? Frantically searching about the ground Praying to all the gods that my precious would be in my arms again before the night falls Tucked away in a thicket rests the lifeless body of my only son Oh gods why? I’m alone staring into the night I’ll cut my wrists to escape this illusion before me For I am of the damned Here I’ll falter under the moon Nightfall wraps me in this cold veil Hands trembling as I reach down to cradle him Stumbling towards the distant shore He shall not rest on this haunted ground If only I could take his place What is the point of me going on? What is this feeling of despair I feel wrapping my mind in guilt? How I wish for death Here in the dwindling light I fall to my knees drawing my beloved blade to turn on myself at last We shall meet again Here in the twilight of the forest I steal myself But a mere sliver of torment in lieu of eternity I feel myself slip away I’m alone staring into the night I’ll cut my wrists to escape this illusion before me For I am of the damned Here I’ll falter under the moon This torment released from me I am reborn in A sea of drowning souls Awaiting heaven

Stranded here in my own flesh A coffin of sinew and bone Gapping wounds in my abdomen spilling forth the Essence of a life I once lived in vein Bloodied hands lay limp in snow painting a Visceral piece to be cherished by those who come after me As black fills the sky As birds fail to sing I wither away They reclaim my scattered bones They carry me down to haunted caverns below This body I submit to the damned Purged of its essence My soul perished long ago A husk wandering for months Only brought to death amidst the anguish I had witnessed here Oh all the hardship I’ve endured through the years Finally stifling me down in the midst of autumn With no means to provide for this kin of mine This winter shall be our last for we’ll starve by years end If only I could have foreseen the demons Emerging from shadows to slaughter us all Ripping and tearing they lavish in the fountains of blood Raining down from the sky She runs to the hills Pursued by death they are lost With my absence I’ve killed them all I’ve killed them all My soul perished long ago A husk wandering for months Only brought to death amidst the anguish I had witnessed here And so I go forth into a chasm of black Let me drown in an endless sea of torment Forever cursed to be haunted by a memory A shameful death only fit for a damned coward Take me back to the times of plenty when I Felt alive with a warmth deep down in my heart Before the leaves turned gold with the changing season Before I spiral into a well of despair

Forlorn 05:11
Behold a prophecy from the immortal A quietus to the pagan worshippers of the common land Filth ridden swine A powerful deity emerges from the hell-gate Of chaos itself proclaiming the reclamation of the mortal plane Ave regina tuum Skies blacken, waters recede Mountains crumble returning to meager dust Fire erupts, peasants weep To no avail as the molten flames proceed To consume a lush land laid before it How hateful this torment shall cleanse a forgotten world An abandoned sphere A corrupted seed not fit to carry on “Traitorous witch, you’ve brought this upon us all Death to ye and curses upon your deplorable kin” An aura permeates through the veil of time and space The witch ascends A filthy grin of supremacy on her face Resting silently at the right hand of her bastard queen She whispers fallacies, angering the deity Sins and misdeeds accounted for their judgment A game of wits Betrayal in all its grandeur The skies part revealing the sun A chaos sphere of hate A burning flame to scorch the earth barren Men consumed in molten fire Women and children weep A thirst of blood and fear is satiated
5.
Bodies strewn all about the site of a ritual Those still conscious enough to witness this horror Shall pray to pagan gods begging for mercy Begging for death If only they knew what fate shall await them Deep down below A cacophony of their screams ring out Tortured and mutilated for the moon god above In the heart of the cave Powers coalesce Flesh ripped from its bones Dark magic stirs Reclamation pools of flesh Pulsing violently as it comes together as one Sinew bursting as a viscous liquid slowly bleeds out Cries of newborn demons erupt as they emerge Twas moving betwixt the scattered rocks With the speed of a hound And there I saw one advance upon My dying brethren A cacophony of their screams ring out Tortured and mutilated for the moon god above Abhorrent creatures spill forth to the valley to hunt once again Innocent blood flows down from the hills
